Coy Lee Hedrick, Sr.

Coy Lee Hedrick, Sr. age 75, of East Holly Grove Road, Lexington passed away Saturday afternoon (March 26, 2011) at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.  Funeral service will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday (March 30, 2011) at Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ with Rev. Darrell Sluder officiating.  Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 pm and at other times at the home.   Coy was born in Davidson County, August 18, 1935 to Gould Wilburn Hedrick and Lucille McDaniel Hedrick.  He was the retired owner and operator of Coy Motor Company and a member of Mt. Tabor United Church of Christ.  He was preceded in death by his parents.   Surviving are; his wife Patricia “Patsy” Everhart Hedrick of the home; two daughters, Reneta Davis and husband Jimmy, and Sandra K. Brown all of Lexington; two sons; Coy Lee Hedrick, Jr, and Zane Hedrick and wife Amy all of Lexington; four grandchildren, Brandon Hedrick, Gabe Brown Kala Owens and Quentin Owens; two sisters, Peggy Owens and husband Lindsay and Geraldine Shoaf and husband Bobby all of Lexington; one brother, Hoyle Hedrick and wife Sherill.   Memorials may be directed to Mt.
