Craig A. Taylor

Craig A. Taylor, age 67, entered eternity on Wednesday, March 11th, 2026, with family gathered at his bedside.

Craig was born in Memphis, TN to Billy M. and Betty Sue (Sue) Taylor. Raised in Huntsville, AL until he entered the Navy, he settled in Tampa, FL after his military service, and built a career in the electronics sector. He later reinvented himself when he moved to NC and received his BS in and his MBA becoming a financial and tax specialist. He created a company and built a clientele that were more than customers – they became friends.

Some people measure success with dollar signs and financial portfolios, leaving them empty. Others have learned and defined it as the sum of all your relationships including those with your Creator/Savior and friends. Craig was rich.

Craig leaves behind two sisters, Taylor S. Lake and Tracey T. Thomas, (Greg); a niece Mallory and two nephews, Spencer and Owen Thomas who will always remember his impersonations of Buzz Lightyear. He loved his boys: Marko and Axel (Keeshonds) who still wait for his return. He valued friendship and there is not enough ink to list all his friends, but Vivian Bailey, Mike O’Brien, Meylssa Moran and John Hickman are among them.

Physically active, he enjoyed skiing, jogging, biking as well as enjoying the beauty of NC and its fishing holes. Now resurrected, he has a body that will never fail him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday March 15, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel, Winston-Salem.  A reception will follow at the funeral home.
