Crystal James, 48, of Davidson County, passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Atrium Health, in Winston Salem.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home.
A funeral will be held following the visitation 1:00 PM, in the funeral home’s chapel, with Pastor Freddie Moretz officiating.
Burial will conclude the services at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Crystal was born on January 27, 1977, in Davidson County, to the late Daniel Edward James and Jacqueline Morris James.
She was known to be a social butterfly and was the vine that reached out throughout the family tree, always ready for a good chat or just to say, “I love you.” Her natural ability to nurture others was displayed by how she took care of everyone she knew at some point in their lives, whether it be babysitting nieces and nephews or taking care of her parents.
Her love for others was experienced not only within her family but also within her church, Faith Baptist, where she was a devoted member. Crystal’s church family and friends remember her warmth and how she was always ready to greet people with a smile.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory is her brother, Chris James (Christina), of Lexington; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
