Curtis Shayne Emory, age 49, of John Snider Road, Lexington passed away Friday (November 12, 2010) in Hartsville, SC. Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Wednesday (November 17, 2010) at Paul’s Chapel United Church of Christ, with Rev. Jimmy Norred officiating. Burial will follow in Paul’s Chapel Cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the church parlor from 1:30 until 3:00 pm prior to the service.
Shayne was born in Glynn County, Georgia November 6, 1961 to Thomas Lewis Emory and Daisy Porter Emory. He was employed by Engineering Service Group as a Field Engineer at The Robinson Nuclear Plant. He served his country in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Surviving are: his wife, Tammy Lawson Emory of the home; two daughters, Koty Brianna Emory and Kelsey Shayne Emory of the home; one son, Corey Aaron Emory of the home; his father, Thomas Lewis Emory and step-mother, Bernice Emory of Albany, GA; two brothers, Thomas Emory, Jr. and wife Sheryl of Kernersville and Mark Emory and wife Ruth of Farmington.
