Curtis Wayne Fletcher

Curtis (Curt) Wayne Fletcher, 65 of Waterbury Place died Wednesday September 4, 2013 at Carolina’s Rehabilitation Center in Charlotte after declining health of 4 years. A memorial service will be Sunday September 8, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Hedrick’s Grove Reformed United Church of Christ with Rev. William Sowers officiating. Curt was born in Watauga County on July 12, 1948 to James Leonard Fletcher, Sr. and Lucille Mae Walker Fletcher. He was employed with Fletcher Machine for over 40 years and a member of Hedrick’s Grove Reformed United Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, James Fletcher, Jr., Clint Fletcher and Paul Fletcher. Surviving are his wife Carolyn Eller Fletcher of the home, daughter Jennifer Brown and husband Tim of Lexington, brothers, Ray Fletcher and companion, Judy and Gary Fletcher and wife Cindy all of Lexington and sister-in-law Lucy Fletcher of Lexington.
