Cynthia “Cindy” Hinkle Lynch, 74, a resident of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at her residence. She was born on July 2, 1947 in Rowan County to the late Paul Douglas and Irene Young Hinkle. Cindy worked for Parkdale Mills then went on to retire from Atrium Windows and Doors. She also worked for Easterseals, caring for those in need, for many years. She was a caring person who loved her family immensely, especially her grandkids. She spoiled each of them equally. She also loved traveling to the beach. Cindy was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Teresa Bartrug and Sheila Williams.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington. The family will greet friends prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM. Cindy is survived by her children, Doug Miller (Jeanette) of Lexington, Kim Gerringer of High Point, Billy Miller (Connie) of Linwood, and Dana Tester (Terry) of Linwood; sisters, Sharon White (David) of Lexington and Debra James (Wesley) of Florida; grandchildren, Johnathan, Bridgette, Derick, Stephanie, Cory, Amber, and Carly; thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; and her pajama day bestie, Vanna.
The family would like to extend a special thanks and gratitude to David and Sharon White for all their love and care for Cindy over the years.
