Cynthia Ann Davis Frank, 70, of Lexington, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at Center Church of Welcome with Pastor Mitch Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary prior to the service.
Cynthia was born on September 16, 1954 in Gaston County, NC to the late Yates H.B. Davis and Jackie Sane Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Wayne Frank.
Cynthia spent her career as a social worker for the Dept. of Social Services before becoming the Director of Senior Services for Davidson County. She was very proud of her time as Director and thankful to serve as an advocate for the seniors in her community. In her free time, she loved spending time outside gardening. Her favorite flowers were tulips and daisies. She also enjoyed reading, decorating, and shopping. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her beloved King Charles Spaniel, Charlie. Most of all, she dearly loved her family.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 15 years, Nathan Daniel Boone; son, Dr. Phillip Frank and wife Dr. Shanna Frank; daughter, Wendy Grubb and husband Rusty Grubb; brother, Randy Mike Davis and wife Ronda; sisters, Suzanne Nelson and husband Steven, and Patricia Elaine Hass and husband Carl; three grandchildren, Tyler Grubb, Logan Grubb, and Sydney Frank, and her close friend, Christy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Baldrick’s Foundation or the Davidson County Animal Shelter.
