Dale Eugene Martin

Dale Eugene Martin age 77 of Clemmons, NC passed away Wednesday February 16, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. A graveside celebration of his life will be held  2:00 pm Sunday April 24, 2022 at Maple Grove Church of the Brethern Cemetery conducted by Pastor Jeremiah Beasley.  The family will see friends after the graveside service.

Mr. Martin was born December 16, 1944 in Ionia County Michigan to William Sterling Martin and Grace Irene Inman Martin.  His parents and sisters, Betty Martin Hoffman and Linda Martin McCollum and a brother, Raymond Martin all preceded him in death. He was of the Methodist faith and honorably served his country in The US Navy. Dale loved the outdoors, hiking, camping, Nascar and loved watching wildlife in his yard.  People were so attracted to his personality because of the effortless way he made people laugh with his sense of humor larger than life. He was a most humble man  who never met a stranger. He loved going to the BBQ Center where he has eaten one of their Banana Spilt's by himself as the rest of the restaurant cheered him on.  His proudest accomplishment was raising two daughters as a single parent.

Surviving are his daughters Amy Tucker (Jeffrey) of Clemmons and Wendy Anderson (Randy) of Mocksville. He is also survived by a grandson, T.J. Martin and a sister, Rose Martin Steven of Michigan.
