Dale Tilmon Tucker Sr.

Dale Tilmon Tucker Sr., age 78 of Lexington went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, October 27, 2015 with family by his side. A celebration of life will be 11:00 am Thursday, October 29 2015 at Lighthouse Baptist Church with Pastor Avery Varnadore and Mr. Tim Cox. The family will receive friends after the service in the Family Life Center. Dale was born August 25, 1937 in Mason County WV to Stanley Tucker and Florence Hayes Tucker. He was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and retired from ABF Freight. He loved singing gospel music at the assisted living homes and loved fishing with Tim & Doc. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bill Tucker, Jess Tucker, Jim Tucker and Harold Tucker, sister, Hazel Hussell. Surviving are his wife of 58 years Ruth Maxine Burgess Tucker, son, Dale Tucker Jr., daughters, Sheila Stidham (Joe), Carla Edge (Babe), grandchildren, Nicky, Ryan, Cory and Jessica, great grandchildren, Case, Allison, Olivia and Kaylee, brothers, Denny Tucker (Ella Mae) and Bobby Tucker (Maxine), several nieces and nephews, special cousin, Dorothy Craig, special friends, Tim Cox and Joe Horney.
