Dallas Ray Burkhart

Dallas Burkhart, age 57, of Allred Road in Lexington, NC passed away Saturday morning at his home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Lexington City Cemetery. There will not be a formal visitation, however, the family request all friends visit with them at the home. Mr. Burkhart was born April 21, 1959 in Davidson County to James Murphy Burkhart and Mary Magdalene Crotts Burkhart. He was a self-employed mechanic. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Leigh Burkhart; and a brother, Oneil Burkhart. Surviving are his loving wife, Deborah Herring Burkhart of the home; four daughters, Melissa Burkhart Kinney (Chad) of Salisbury, Carrie Elizabeth Burkhart (William Horn), Brandy Leigh Burkhart, and Sara Allison Burkhart (Aaron Cruz) all of Lexington; two brothers, James Burkhart, and Rex Burkhart both of Lexington; two sisters, Denise Brown, and Zelda Leonard (Carey) all of Lexington; 5 grandchildren that he loved so dear, and one on the way.
