Dan Carlin Swaim

Dan Carlin Swaim, Sr., age 80, of Clemmons passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

A small graveside service will be held at Arcadia United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Pastor Eddie Evans.

Mr. Swaim was born November 2, 1939 in Forsyth County to Berlie Francis Swaim and Mary Jones Swaim. He retired as Central Distribution Manager from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company after 36 years of service.  His parents and a sister, Molly Kiger, preceded him in death. He honorably served his country in the US Army.

Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Jean Hill Swaim of the home; his daughter, Cindy Saunders (Hogie) of St. Augustine, Florida and his son, Dan Carlin Swaim, Jr. (Michelle) of Winston Salem. Also surviving are four grandchildren; Hunter Swaim, Austin Swaim, Danielle Saunders, Carson Swaim and two great-grandchildren, Hudson Swaim and Caleb Schrantz.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to : Arcadia United Methodist Church, 117 Boulevard Road , Clemmons, NC 27012 and to the Animal Care Foundation, 11141 Old US Hwy 52-Suite 5, Winston-Salem, NC  27127.
