Daniel David Cone

Daniel (Dan) David Cone, 61, Swicegood Road, Lexington passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2020 at his home.  A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 in Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Josh Sheffield officiating and will be streamed live at www.facebook.com/davidson.funeralhome

The family request that everyone attending the service to please wear Panther gear.

Mr. Cone was born September 30, 1959 in Davidson County to John Payne Cone and Sallie Marsh Cone. He worked as a shipping clerk for Schutz Containers and served as a Staff Sgt. in the Army. Dan was a Panther fan and loved to wear Panther gear. Preceding him in death were his parents, and two brothers, Harold Cone and Jack Cone.

Surviving is his wife, Lee Cone of the home; two sons, Austin Cone (Jasmine) of Ft. Bragg, David Cone of Wisconsin; four daughters, LeAnna Cone, Amanda Owensby (Curtis), Crystal Allen (Thomas) all of Lexington, Stephanie Cone of Georgia; six grandsons, Ethen Owensby, Elias Owensby, Haydan Allen, Avory Cone, Dallas Cone, Logan Giusti; two granddaughters, Elianna Owensby and Cody Milner; a brother, Chris Cone (Jeri) of Clemmons; two sisters, Sandy Oglesby (Stuart) of VA., Gigi Welch (Paul) of Texas, and his granddog, Hades Cone.
