Daniel Lee Craver

Daniel “Dan” Lee Craver, 60, of Holiday Drive, died Monday July 2, at Lexington Memorial Hospital after three years declining health. The funeral will be at 11:00am Thursday at Leonard Road Baptist Church by the Rev. Tommy Helper. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Craver was born November 12, 1946, in Davidson County to Julius Columbus Craver and Frances Ann Milan Craver. He was a self-employed carpenter and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife Carol Eggleston Craver of the home; his mother of Lexington; two sons Marty Craver and wife Shannon and Tracy Craver both of Lexington; one brother Ray Craver and wife Sylvia of Lexington; two sisters Darlene Chaffin and husband Bill of Sunset Beach, and Becky Bennett and husband Glenn of Lexington; two grandchildren Ryan and Meagan Craver. The family will receive friends Wednesday 6 to 8 PM at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel.
