Daniel Anthony Dilday

Daniel Anthony Dilday, age 63 of Lexington passed away Friday morning November 29, 2019 at Forsyth Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at Noon on Thursday, December 5, 2019 in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Sutton officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 PM Thursday at the Salisbury National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday.

Daniel was born in Paris County, TN on February 3, 1956 to Rastus Everette Dilday and Lucille Bashore Dilday. He was a former employee of Advance Auto and served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corp and also served in the Vietnam War. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Dale Merrell and birth mother, Carolyn Ann Oliver.

Surviving are his daughters; BettyTrujillo (Guillermo Trujillo Garcia), Rebecca Brown (Dwayne), Danielle Dilday (Branden Martinez) and Christina Dilday all of Lexington; son, Travis Rafi (Sarah) of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, William Trujillo, Maxwell Preston, Ethan Preston, Cheyenne Martinez, Aris Martinez, Tala Martinez, Iyonna Martinez, Derrick Martinez, Madelynn Martinez, Malaysia Dilday, Jayden Dilday, Johnathon Dilday, Loeren Dilday, Theron Rafi and Elijah Rafi; great-grandchild;  Tessa Trujillo and a sister, Cindy Dilday Hines of Michigan.
