Daniel Hatcher, 89, of Cooper Lake Drive, passed away Friday at Accordius Health in Clemmons. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday at West Lawn Memorial Gardens in Clemmons with Rev. David Langley officiating services. Entombment will follow in the Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday at Davidson Funeral Home Hickory Tree Chapel. Mr. Hatcher was born June 9, 1929 in Forsyth County to Jesse James Hatcher and Lenoa Virginia Farley Hatcher. He was retired from Western Electric and served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Daniel Patrick Hatcher; four brothers, Kenneth, Edward, Albert and Lacy, and a sister Mary Katherine West. Surviving is his wife, Barbara Jean Lovely Hatcher of the home; a daughter, Alice Miller and husband Tony of Jacksonville North Carolina; a sister, Rose Eta Phillips fo Lexington, 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and a special nephew Robert West. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is serving the Hatcher family.
