Daniel Jefferson Miller

Daniel Jefferson Miller, 80, of Split Oak Lane in Linwood, passed away Tuesday October 15, 2024 at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Lexington Medical Center in Lexington.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Monday October 21, 2024 at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park with Military Graveside Rites.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Sunday at Davidson Funeral Home. The family will accept friends and family at the home any time.

Mr. Miller was born July 9, 1944 in South Carolina to Levy Jefferson Miller and Carrie Florence Barnes Miller. Daniel enjoyed genealogy, fishing, Gamecocks sports, traveling, and playing softball. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Mary Ruth Shelley.

Surviving is his wife, Louise Kathryn Mays Miller, of the home; one son, Mike Miller (Kara) of Denton; one daughter, Michelle Harris (Billy) of the home; 6 grandchildren, Savannah Hughes (Michael), Kira Johnson (Bryce), Michael Miller Jr. (Holly), Joanne Miller, Kathryn Harris, and Blake Harris; and 4 great-grandchildren, Olivia Johnson, Adalyn Hughes, Mason Hughes and Rylee Johnson.
