Daniel Sink

Daniel Lewis "Bud" Sink, 79, of Gumtree Road, Winston-Salem, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital in Winston-Salem. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hebron United Church of Christ, where he was a member. Mr. Sink was born in Davidson County on Sept. 26, 1927, to Walter Hamilton Sink and Ola Miller Sink. He was owner and operator of D.L. Sink Grading for over 40 years. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Donald Lewis Sink; and a sister, Margaret Moore. Surviving are his wife, Martha Whicker Sink of the home; one son, Danny Sink and Kathy of Winston-Salem; two daughters, Judy Gallimore of Welcome and Terri Shore and Rick of Winston-Salem; 10 grandchildren,Alan Gallimore and Pam, Todd and Angel Gallimore, Greg Gallimore, Jerry Sink, Laura Smith, Bradley Smith, Brian Smith and Brennan Shore, all of Winston-Salem, and Danny Sink Jr.and Aimee of Clemmons; and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, and other times at the home.
