Danna Fishel Henderson

Danna Fishel Henderson, a loving mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, went to be with her heavenly father, Thursday, August 6, 2009 after battling cancer for 37 years. She had been in declining health for 4 years and seriously ill for 3 weeks. She was born March 9, 1039 to Margaret Zimmerman Fishel and Henry Burke Fishel. She was a friend to all and to know her was to love her. She was preceded in death by her husband Finley Henderson in 1998. She is survived by 3 sons; Jeff Henderson and wife Sharon, Jody Henderson and wife Michelle, Tim Henderson and wife Tabitha, all of Lexington. One daughter, Dafin Koontz and husband Wayne of Churchland. Five Grandchildren; Jami Barbee and husband Andy of Churchland, Josh Koontz and wife Jordan, Brittany Henderson, Jake Henderson and Kari Henderson, all of Lexington. Four great-grandchildren; Austin Barbee, Ashtyn Barbee, Ella Barbee and River Koontz. Too many friends to count. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home- Hickory Tree Chapel from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday, August 8, 2009. A graveside service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday, August 9, 2009 at Mt Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery.
