Dannie Eugene Sizemore

Dannie Eugene Sizemore, age 74, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center.

A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday January 29, 2022, at Union Grove Baptist Church where he was a member conducted by Pastors Josh Evans, T.W. Bailey and Dr. Harold Fletcher. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military rites. The family will see friends from 1-2 pm prior to the service.

Mr. Sizemore was born May 24, 1947, in Davidson County to McDaniel Sizemore and Florence Naomi Beeson Sizemore. He was a very active member and Deacon at his church and honorably served his country in The US Army. Mr. Sizemore retired from The US Postal Service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy Marie Lambeth Sizemore; a son in law, Trent Callahan; and a brother, Garry Sizemore.

Surviving are his son, Brian Sizemore (Andrea) of Winston Salem; his daughter, Karen Suzanne Callahan of Lexington; three grandchildren, Audrey Callahan, Tanner Sizemore, and Alex Sizemore; and a brother, Barry Sizemore (Dottie) of Lexington.

Memorials may be made to Union Grove Baptist Christian School.
