Dannie Lee Strickland

Dannie Lee Strickland, 56, of Regan Road, died Friday, May 12, 2006. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, by Dr. Charles R. Yarbrough Jr. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Mr. Strickland was born in Davidson County on April 18, 1950, to Edgar Lee Strickland and Mable Harris Strickland. He was a lifelong welder and attended Christ Reform Church. Surviving are his wife, Christine Robbins Strickland of the home; one daughter, Shea Alexis Strickland of the home; two half brothers, Timmy and Mark Strickland, both of Lexington; and one sister, Peggy Jimenez of Lexington. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Monday at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
