Danny Foyle Benson

Danny Foyle Benson, 65, of Louya Road, died Monday, May 11, 2015, at his home. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 14, 2015, at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Butch Conrad officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service and other times at the home of his nephew, Donnie Parsons. Mr. Benson was born December 16, 1949, in Davidson County, to John Aubrey Benson and Mary Johnson Metters. He was a service tech for General Electric. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Tamara Greer Benson; and brother James Donald Parsons. Surviving are niece, Teresa Conrad of Lexington; nephews, Donnie Parsons and wife Debbie and Jeff Parsons and wife Stephanie; and close friend, Rick Aiken and wife Suzette of Lexington. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to North Lexington Triangle Fire Department, 2976 Greensboro St Ext., Lexington, NC 27295.
