Danny Lee Tallmon

Danny Lee Tallmon, age 55 of Swicegood Road, Linwood, passed away Tuesday morning (December 7, 2010) at Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday (December 11, 2010) at the Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel with eulogy given by Joann Beaver. Burial will be at a later date in Tate Family Cemetery in Pineola, NC. The family will receive friends at Davidson Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday. Danny was born in Mecklenburg County, NC November 17, 1955 to Jack Tallmon and Margaret Combs Tallmon. He was a former residential carpenter. He was a member of Church of God of the Bible in Huntersville. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, James Odell Tallmon. Surviving are: his wife, Linda Campbell Tallmon of the home; three daughters, Becky White of Taylorsville, Sonya McCrary and husband Derek and Melissa Swicegood and husband Michael all of Linwood; five grandchildren, Lisa Mitchell, Lindsay McCrary, Andy White, Landon McCrary and James Swicegood; two sisters, Joann Beaver of Kannapolis and Shelia Beaver of Mocksville and one brother, Jack Tallmon, Jr. of Holden Beach.
