Darlene Shoaf Miller

Darlene Shoaf Miller, age 63 of Lexington passed away Thursday (November 4, 2010) at Hinkle Hospice House.  Memorial service will be held 7:00 pm Tuesday (November 9, 2010) at the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel with Pastor Cheryl  G. Cottingham officiating.   The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 pm Tuesday prior to the service.   Darlene was born in Davidson County, April 7, 1947 to Henry Franklin Shoaf and Odessie Shoaf Shoaf.  She was a member of Maple Grove Church of the Brethren.  She was a retired Real Estate Broker, last employed with Uwharrie Real Estate.  Preceded in death by her father.   Surviving are: one son Kerry Miller of Lexington; her mother Odessie Shoaf of Lexington; two sisters, Jonell Eddinger and husband Bill and Jean Link all of Lexington; one niece, Tasha Perry and husband Phil; two nephews, Reid Eddinger and wife Diane, Shawn Link and wife Kathy and her special Dog “Bobo”.   Memorials should be directed to True Love Animal Rescue, 689 Riverwood Drive, Lexington, NC  27292 or to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC  27292     Online condolences may be made at www.davidsonfuneralhome.net
