Darlynn Leonard Guest

November 20, 1964 — May 14, 2024

Darlynn Robin Leonard Guest, 59, of Burkhart Road, passed away Tuesday May 14, 2024, at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston Salem.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday, May 17, 2024, at Floyd Baptist Church, where she was a member, with Pastor Ed Armfield officiating services. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00pm Thursday at Davidson Funeral Home Lexington Chapel.

Darlynn was born November 20, 1964, in Davidson County to David Lloyd Leonard and Ruby Cornelia “Connie” Canoy Leonard. Darlynn worked many years at Stoner Thomas and Central Davidson High School in the Life Skills Department, was also owner and operator of Southmont Diner.  She enjoyed spending time at the beach and was preceded in death by her parents.

Surviving are her two sons, David Reed Guest and Andrew Guest (Brittany) both of Lexington; one daughter, Kristen House of Troutman; two sisters, Dee Beck and Davonna Davis (Randy) both of Lexington; two brothers, Dwight Leonard (Karen) of Boone and Dwayne Leonard (Aleta) of Lexington; and 4 grandchildren, Lilly Leonard, Lexi Guest, Walker Guest and Alana Leonard.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Stoner Thomas School, 215 County School Road, Lexington, NC 27292 or to the new upcoming Floyd Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 2745 Floyd Church Road, Lexington, NC 27292.
