Darrell Everhart

Victor Darrell Everhart, 64, of Riverview Road, died Friday, August 22, 2014, at his home following a three month illness. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Everhart was born September 24, 1949, in Davidson County, to William Troy Everhart and Thelma Maness Everhart. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and prior to his retirement he was an equipment operator for Piedmont Asphalt Paving Company. Mr. Everhart had also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Everhart Mize. Surviving are his loving wife, Vickie Smith Everhart, of the home; sister Shelia Everhart and partner Bob Edwards; brothers-in-law, T.L. Smith and wife Barbara of High Point, Gene Smith and wife Gail of Lexington, Don Smith of Florida, and William Steve Mize of Welcome; sisters-in-law, Gloria Justice and husband Scott of Lexington, Sandra Loflin of Mocksville, and Fay Bryan of Virginia; and many nieces and nephews including nephew, Adam Mize of Welcome.
