David Allen Craver

Mr. David Allen Craver, age 68, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2026, at his residence.

He was born on May 14, 1958, in Davidson County, to the late James M. Craver and Irene Craver.

David graduated from North Davidson High School. He worked as a truck driver for Reithoffer Shows for over 30 years. David was a simple man who loved his family, being outdoors, fishing, and working on anything mechanical.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Holly Craver; and two sisters, Nancy Shoaf and Brenda McGee.

Survivors include his mother, Irene Craver of Lexington; his daughter, Somer Canton (Kyle) of Pennsylvania; his siblings, Ricky Craver (Luann) of Lexington, Jeff Craver (Barbara) of Mocksville, Sylvia Craver of Lexington, Mandi Brandt (Andrew) of Creedmoor, Chris Burleson (Jessica) of Lexington, Angel Burleson (Jason) of Lexington, and James Burleson of Lexington; three grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Zach Grady (Chasity), Holly Newman (Tyler), and Garrick Canton (Kyia), all of Pennsylvania; and five great-grandchildren, Leana, Lula, Skyla, Jax, and Bryant.

A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2026, at Grace Missionary Baptist Church in Tyro.
