David Keith Ball

David Keith Ball Sr. known as Keith passed away Monday morning February 23, 2026 at Lexington Health Care after several years of declining health.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday February 28, 2026 at Becks Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, with Rev. David Kelley and Rev. Chris Johnson officiating.

Visitation will follow at the cemetery.

Keith was born in Davidson County, March 22, 1949 to James Hosea Ball and Betty June Garner Ball. Keith had several jobs in his lifetime, worked for Coble Dairy and delivered to many locations across the county, he was a retired employee of Rexam in Winston Salem and Keith was very knowledgeable about building as he could build anything and he learned a lot of this when he worked for Dale Beck Construction. Keith had a love for the game of Golf and played as often as he was able. He loved his family especially his mom and dad. He was a member of Becks Evangelical Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother in laws, Tony Conrad, Richard Cushman and Robert Conner and two grandchildren, Jerry Luke Black and Troy James Black.

He is survived by his loving wife Virgie Tucker Ball; daughter Sharee Black (Scott) of Lexington, son David Keith Ball, Jr. of Lexington; step daughter, Brooke Parrish of Pfafftown, step-son Chris Hemrick (Lara) of Stanley, NC 8 grandchildren Taylor, Camryn, Addy, Zack, Brody, Austin, Tess and Tate, 1 great-grandchild, Zion, 4 sisters Mittie Cushman, Teresa Conner, Donna Hanes (Bobby) and Kathy Conrad all of Lexington
