David Charles Boles

David Charles Boles 70 of Winston Salem went peacefully at home with his family by his side to be with our Lord and Savior  Saturday August 7, 2021 after a hard fight with cancer.

A small graveside service will be 11:00 am on Saturday August 14, 2021 at Faith Church Cemetery officiated by Pastor Ferrell Towns.

David was born November 3, 1950 in Forsyth County to John and Mildred Boles. He was a member of Faith Missionary Alliance Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Boles, and his parents.

Surviving are his sons, Byron McDaniel (Hope) of King and Todd McDaniel (Vie) of Advance. His brother in law, Loy Fennell III of Eden Prarie, Minn.; his sister in law, Linda Ratliff of Lexington; his grandchildren: Kaitlynn, Danielle, Jonathan, Devin and Emma; his great granddaughter Alice; and his cousin Carol Brock and other family members. Also surviving is his beloved miniature schnauzer, Ozzie.

David will be remembered as a beloved husband, loving father, grandfather and loving great grandfather. David was a wonderful man who loved spending time with his sons and their families at family get togethers, camping, fishing and wood working. Nothing was more important to David than his family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Trellis Supportive Care for the wonderful care and support they provided David and his family over the last several weeks.
