David Brogdon

David Arnold Brogdon, age 75 of Marlin Dr., Lexington died Saturday, July 17, 2010 in Britthaven of Davidson. A Graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park at 11:00 am Tuesday with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday at DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME and other times at the home of the daughter, Luanne Tollie on Mayflower Rd. Mr. Brogdon was born January 22, 1935 in Davidson County to Bradley Brogdon and Gertrude Childress Brogdon. He was a retired President of Dave’s Machine Shop. Preceding him in death was his parents and a grandson, Brandon David Brogdon, Sr., July 11, 2010. He is survived by two sons, John Brogdon and wife, Gearleen and Benjamin Brogdon and wife, Tina both of Lexington; a daughter, Luanne Tollie and husband, Kenny of Lexington; grandchildren, Kerrie Owen, Kimberly Perdue, Bryan Parks, Justin Parks; three sisters, Ann Sechrest of Lexington, Betsy Higgins of Clarksville, VA and Judy McDowell of Denton, and his dog, Scooter.
