David Ronald Denton

David Denton age 62 of Myrtle Beach, SC formerly of Patricia Lane passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday August 29, 2015 in the Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park with military honors. David was born September 4, 1952 in Forsyth County to James Harlis and Josephine Grant Denton. He attended DCCC and NC State University where he received his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering. He was a veteran of the US Marine Corp and served his country in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Appache Worship in Myrtle Beach. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Tesh. Surviving are his wife, Linda Lester Denton of the home; his parents of Lexington; brother, Jimmy Denton (Tracy) of Winston Salem; daughter, Angela Martin of Lexington; sons, Bryan Koonts of New Hampshire, Brad Koonts (Megan) of California, Michael Denton (Becky) of Lexington, Ramiro Villalobos of Fort Bragg and Anthony Villalobos of Myrtle Beach, SC; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters.
