David Dermont Floyd

David Dermont Floyd, age 79 of Hedrick Mill Road, Lexington passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at his home.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday December 29, 2020 at Becks Reformed Church Cemetery with Rev. Zach Hall officaiting. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing and face mask are requested for the service.

David was born in Davidson County November 15, 1941 to Foy Dermont Floyd and Roxie Greer Floyd. David loved cars sales and parts and old buildings on the farm. He was owner and operator of Floyd’s Used Auto Parts and Cars and enjoyed all the people he came in contact with over the years. He will be missed by his family, friends and the community. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are his wife Bonnie Bowers Floyd of the home; other loving members of his family; special friends Ethan Hedrick and family and Grady Hedrick and family.
