David Colon Freedle, 60, of Hoover Road, died Monday, March 26, 2012, at Hinkle Hospice House.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2011, at Beulah United Church of Christ, where he was a member, with the Rev. Egbert Craven officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Davidson Funeral Home and other times at the home of his son.
Mr. Freedle was born June 15, 1951, in Davidson County, to Raymond Elwood Freedle and Gurla Mae Hanes Freedle. He was a graduate of Davidson County Community College and was retired from RJR Archer. Mr. Freedle was an avid car enthusiast and a great admirer of the Corvette. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are a son, David Chad Freedle of Lexington; brothers, Ronald E. Freedle and Ray Von Freedle, both of Lexington; sisters, Linda Clodfelter and husband, Terry, of Lexington and Donna Casto of Texas; nephews, Lynn Clodfelter and wife, Elaine, of Lake Tillery and Zack Freedle of Virginia; and niece, Amy Clodfelter of Las Vegas, Nv.
