David Scott Hardin, 51, of Esther Eigner Lane, Lexington, died unexpectedly on Friday, December 13 at Lexington Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 5:00 PM Wednesday, December 18 at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel.
There will be no public visitation.
David was born November 4, 1962 in El Paso County, TX to David Neil Hardin and Brenda Neal Hardin. A veteran of the US Army, he was a self-employed contractor and of the Baptist faith. His father, and his grandparents, Kye and Katherine Horne, James Neal, and Charles and Gwynn Hardin, and his daughter, Kathie, preceded him in death.
Surviving are his wife, Nita Krafft Hardin of the home; his mother of Denver, NC; his son, Michael of Delaware; his sister, Vickey M. Baxley, and his nephews, Chris and Jarod Baxley, all of Denver, NC; and his father in law, Gaylord Krafft of Georgia.
