David Michael Haynes

August 31, 1977 — January 6, 2014

David Michael Haynes, age 36 of Lexington went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 6, 2014. A service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 12th at Union Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Ken Harris, Harold Fletcher and T. W. Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th from 6 to 8 PM at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel. David was born in Forsyth County on August 31, 1977 to Stephen Haynes and the late Carol Black Haynes. David graduated from Union Grove Christian School in 1995. He was employed with Flow Honda for 16 years and was a master technician. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and greatly loved his church family. David’s love for the Lord was evident in all he said or did. David loved sports and excelled at all he tried. He enjoyed golf and basketball, loved going to the beach and loved his cats. He loved his Flow Honda group, spending time with friends and most of all loved setting out on adventures with his wife Stephanie. They were best friends and always had fun no matter what they did. David was the kindest person you could know and was a blessing to all who were privileged enough to know him. If you knew David, you loved him. He was just easy to love. Most of all he loved the Lord and wanted everyone he knew to come to a saving knowledge of Him. Surviving is his wife, true love and best friend Stephanie who he had an incredible bond with. They were truly meant for one another, his father Stephen Haynes and wife Tammy, a brother Daniel Haynes, wife Carrie and daughter Autumn; his father and mother in-law, James and Becky Liner and countless friends. Memorials may be made to the Union Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 2295 Union Grove Rd., Lexington, NC 27295. Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel is assisting the family.
