David Hedrick

David Ashley Hedrick, 76, of Lexington, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

He was born on March 20, 1949, in Davidson County to the late Robert Grady Hedrick and Ruby Darlene Peacock Hedrick. David was a self-employed contractor and the proud owner of Robert Hedrick Building Supplies. He was a dedicated member of Sheets Memorial Church and will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his love of tractors and farming, his enjoyment of traveling, and most of all, the time he spent with his grandchildren.

David is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Carrick Hedrick; daughter, Jordan Blake and husband Jack; brother, Mark Hedrick and wife Jamie; sisters, Sheila Brooks and husband Rex, and Julie Kassouf and husband Todd; and his cherished grandchildren, River, Danna, and Atticus.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Davidson Funeral Home with Rev. Frankie Mathews officiating. Burial at Memorial Evangelical & Reformed Church Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

David will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will always carry his memory in their hearts
