David Franklin Moody, age 64, of Berrier Avenue, Lexington passed away Saturday morning (October 1, 2011) at Wake Forest Baptist Health Center. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday (October 5, 2011) at Salisbury National Cemetery with Rev. Glenn Sanford and Rev. Ronnie Pardue officiating. Burial will follow with military honors.
There will be no public visitation.
David was born in Davidson County, April 30, 1947 to Harold Franklin Moody and Dellie Christine Everhart Moody. He was a former attendant and mechanic with Gobble Service Station; member of Westside Baptist Church and a Veteran of the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He was preceded in death by his parents.
David is survived by his wife, Rachel Pardue Moody of the home; two sons, Tom Trivette and Tim Trivette both of Lexington; three sisters, Mary Pardue and husband James, Judy Varner and husband John all of Lexington and Patsy Williams and husband Christopher of Easley, SC; one brother, Donald Moody and wife Debra of Lexington.
