David Edward Myers

David Edward Myers, 77, of Lexington, passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at his home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, with Chad Lail officiating. Burial will take place earlier that day at 10:00 am at Salisbury National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the funeral home.

David was born on March 11, 1949, in Davidson County, NC, to Claude Lee Myers and Ruth Smith Myers. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Suzanne Myers, in 2022; and his son, Jeffrey Myers.

Left to cherish his memory are his son, Brian Myers; granddaughter, Mercedes Myers; brother, Richard Myers (Patsy); and sisters Shirley Harger, Barbara Beck (Clarence), and Clara May Ivey.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at Our Impact | Wounded Warrior Project.
