David Curtis Richardson

David Curtis Richardson 59 of Lexington passed away at his home on Saturday, July 4, 2015. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Hanes Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, NC with Brad Richardson and Pastor Jason Holley officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 to 2:30 PM before the service. David was born June 17, 1956 in Forsyth County to Junior Lee Richardson and Libby Boles Richardson. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. and was a member of Hanes Baptist Church. Surviving are his parents of Winston-Salem; a son Brad Richardson (Amanda) of Winston-Salem; brothers, Bruce Lee Richardson (Carol) of VA., William Keith Richardson of Winston-Salem, Jeffrey Todd Richardson (Kim) of Madison, NC, John Gregory Richardson (Angie) of Winston-Salem; five grandchildren, Naomi Joy Richardson, Ruth Abigail Richardson, Emma Kay Richardson, Bristol Claire Richardson and Harper Kate Richardson. He went by many names; Cool Curt, Son, Dad, Brother, Paw Paw Candy, but he never met anyone who wouldn’t call him a friend Memorials may be made to Hanes Baptist Church, 4210 Sabrina Lake Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27127.
