David Alfred Riggio

David Alfred Joey Riggio, 69, passed away Saturday,April 26, 2014, at his home.  A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 1, 2014, at Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church in Huntington, W.Va. with the Rev. Carl Lilly officiating. The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. prior to the service.  Alfred was born June 26, 1944, in Huntington, W.V., to Sylvester David Riggio and Eleanor Staples Riggio. He was a retired truck driver, retiring from Terminal Trucking Company. He was preceded in death by his mother.  He is survived by his wife Margaret “Susie” Steinbrecher Riggio of the home; sons Jeffrey Riggio and wife Tiffany of Linwood and Rex Riggio and wife Karen of Barboursville, W.V.; daughter Sherry White and husband Odie of Linwood; his father of Forest City, NC; five grandchildren, Kayla, Ben, Zach, Breanna and Christopher; brother Lester Riggio of Huntington, W.V.; sisters Mary Harvey of Huntington, W.V., and Christa Stamper of Barboursville, WV.
