David Terry Rush

Wednesday, August 28,2024 David Terry Rush 70, passed away while visiting one of his favorite places, Myrtle Beach, SC.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Rush and Norma Jean Rush, sons Brandon Rush, Daryl Everhart and granddaughter, Brielle Kennedy.

He leaves behind wife, Sandra Rush. Daughters, Michelle Atkins and Letitia Bates Hogan (Gerald). Sons, Chad Everhart (Kassie), Brian Rush.

Grandchildren, Katie Shaw (Logan), Jaden Bates, Trevor Everhart, Clementine Everhart, Evan Everhart, Asia Everhart, Karissa Rush, Korbin Everhart. Great Grandchild, Gatlin Shaw. Sister, Paula White. Brother, Sammy Rush.

David was born and raised in Lexington, NC. He was a truck driver for Sealy Mattress and Leggett & Platt. He enjoyed fishing, drag racing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a kind, caring man who loved to laugh and would help anyone in need. He served as a mechanic for his friends and family. He loved hard and lived life to the fullest. The family will receive visitors at 647 Greensboro St. Ext Lexington.

A celebration of life will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, September 1st 2024 at Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. The family will receive family and friends one hour before the service.
