David Morgan Thompson

David Morgan Thompson, 58, of Ridgewood Drive, died Monday, September 15, 2014, at his home. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Davidson Funeral Home, with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. Mr. Thompson was born July 19, 1956, in Barton, NY, to Isaac Thompson and Elizabeth “Betty” Maciel Cole. He is retired from the railroad and of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, David Cole; and sister, Minnie Thompson. Surviving are his wife, Lori Ellis Thompson of the home; brothers, Don Thompson of Florida and Terry Thompson of New York; and several nephews.
