David Kirk Wood

David Wood age 57 of Lexington, died Saturday, March 11, 2023 at his home.

A celebration of life will be held at a later time.

David was born April 7, 1965, in Davidson County to Clarence Doster Wood and Patricia Kirk Wood. He was of the Methodist faith and worked as a builder at United Furniture.

David was loving, fun, and had a heart of gold and stood up for family if anyone attempted to cross them. He was a fixer. David wanted to fix broken things and broken people and always saw the best in everyone.

Surviving are his parents, son Tyler Wood, daughter Ashley Scroggs (John Hottel), sister Leigh Whitaker (Scott), and 3 grandchildren: Lilly Anne Scroggs, Laila Grace Scroggs, and Taylore Jade Everson.
