Dawn Patneau

Dawn Marie Hackenberg Patneau, age 76, peacefully passed away at her home in Lexington on December 26, 2023. A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at Forest Hill Memorial Park on Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 11:00 AM.

Dawn was born in Addison, Michigan, on August 22, 1947, to Leo and Dorothy Haygreen Hackenberg. She dedicated a significant part of her life as a flight attendant for Northwest Airline, bringing joy and care to those she served.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents and her son, Jeffrey Robert Patneau. She is survived by her husband, Robert Austin Patneau, and her son, Jonathan Patneau, daughter Farah Tucker(Jonathan), two grandchildren, Jacob Jeffery Patneau and Hayley Brooke Patneau, two brothers Theodore Hackenberg (Kris) and Kirk Hackenberg (Gloria).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in memory of Dawn to be made to Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292.

Dawn will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, and the love she shared with her family and friends. May she rest in peace.  Davidson Funeral Home – Lexington Chapel is honored to serve the family.
