Dawn Westbrook

Theresa “Dawn” Fritts Westbrook, age 64, of Lexington passed away on August 16, 2019 at her home.   There will be no formal services held.   Mrs. Westbrook was born in Davidson County on September 17, 1954 to Ray L. Fritts, Sr. and Martha LaDean Fritts. She worked at Link Taylor for many years prior to becoming disabled. Dawn loved her animals and enjoyed doing word search puzzles. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister whose memory will be cherished forevermore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Westbrook; a sister, Penny Fritts Perdue; and one brother, Ray “Pete” Fritts.   Surviving are her daughter, Sandi Westbrook of the home; her son, Joseph Westbrook of Winston Salem; grandsons, William Westbrook and Gabriel Hill; sisters, Martha Raye McDaniel of Dunstable, UK, Frankie Hughes (Jim) of Lexington and Dee Anna Hodge (Kelvin) of Greensboro; a sister-in-law, Tonya Fritts of Landis; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Perdue of Lexington; and a host of nieces and nephews.
