Debbie Sechrest Sink

October 17, 1953 — August 16, 2021

Mrs. Debra Ruth Sechrest Sink, 67, of Riverview, FL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, August 16 th at Tampa General Hospital.

A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, August 22, 2021, in the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel.   Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2-3pm on Sunday prior to service at the Funeral Home.

Mrs. Sink was born on October 17, 1953, in Davidson County, NC to Bobby Eugene Sechrest and Mary Ruth Woodward Sechrest.  She was a 1972 graduate of Central Davidson High School. She devoted her life to serve Christ and invest in others, especially her children and grandchildren. No matter how long you knew Debbie or what your background was, she always had a way of making you feel special. It was the love of Christ that so freely flowed from her heart that was so apparent to everyone she met. Her life verse was Jerimiah 29:11, also she and her husband Scott would quote the verse that she so dearly loved each day (1 Thessalonians 5:16 - Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus). Debbie will be missed by all who were so blessed to know her, but we can all take comfort in knowing that she is now in the arms of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Scott Sink Sr.; her parents; her brother, Donnie Eugene Sechrest (Lisa); her son Michael S. Sink, II (Kristina) and granddaughters Madeline, Emily, and Claire Sink; her daughter Valerie Kulaif (Tiago) and granddaughters Victoria and Talitha Kulaif; her daughter Jennifer Wyszkowski (Marco) and grandsons Gabriel and Austin Wyskowski; her son Chad Sink (Mindi) and grandchildren Sawyer and Harper Sink; her son Matthew Sink (Jessie) and grandchildren Tobin, Ella, Brody, Lillia, and Selah Sink; and a host of other extended family who loved her dearly.
