Deborah Clower Hinton, 60, of Tussey Street, died Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at her home.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at Lexington City Cemetery by the Rev. C.S. Paulley officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Hinton was born August 18, 1954, in Baltimore County, MD to James Clower, Sr. and Darthula Williamson Clower. She was a member of the Church of God of the Bible and was a machine operator for C.B. Frame Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Blalock, and a grandson, Charles Christopher Andrews.
Surviving are her husband, Howard Hinton Sr. of the home; son, Howard “Jay” Hinton Jr. and wife Michelle of Lexington; daughters, Arlene Hinton and fiancé Dwayne Carrick, Ronda Charlene Walser and boyfriend, David Sarver Sr., and Valerie Starlene Sorrells and husband, Jon II, all of Lexington; grandchildren, Kenneth Ray Andrews and wife Lacey, Shanah Darlene McVicker and husband Jeff, David Shane Hinton and girlfriend Jessica, Ashley Andrews, Rodney Shawn Sorrells, Nicole Starlene Sorrells, James Cleo Sorrells, Hannah Arlene hinton, and Hailey Sharlene Hinton; seven great-grandchildren; brother, James Richard Clower Jr. and wife, Charlene of Statesville; and sister, Teresa Charles and husband Jimmy of Statesville.
