Deborah Kay Comer Hughes, 67, of High Point passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Hospice Home of High Point.
A funeral service will be held 2pm Friday, November 1st at the Davidson Funeral Home Chapel in Lexington with Preacher Clyde Akers officiating the service. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00pm prior to the service.
Deborah was born on August 15, 1952 in Davidson County to Steven Edwin Comer, Sr. and Shirley Joe Owens Craver. She retired from Pickering as a property manager and was a member of Mt. Carmel Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Gregory James Kimbrell.
Surviving are her parents, Steven Edwin Comer, Sr and Shirley Owens Comer of Lexington; daughters, Stephanie Bryant of High Point, Amy Peak of Winston-Salem; brothers, Steven E. Comer, Jr. , David Scott Comer, both of Lexington; sister, Sharon Comer Munday, of Lexington; and 3 grandchildren, Ayden Cook, Bennett Peak and McKenzie Bryant.
