Debra Lanier Waters

Debra Lanier Waters, 56, of Old Salisbury Road in Linwood passed away on Friday, August 10, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, August 12 ^th at Lakeview Baptist Church with Revs. David Wooten and Jack Morris officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30-2:30 pm prior to the service at the church.

Debra was born in Rowan County on July 17, 1962 to Bobby George Lanier and Joyce Riblin Stout.  She had been employed with Rowan Cabarrus Community College and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church.

Surviving are her loving husband, David B. Waters, of the home; godson, Jonathan Floyd and goddaughter, Amber M. Tritt, both of Lexington, as well as aunts and cousins.
