Debra "Deb" Younts

Debra “Deb” Robbins Younts, 68, of Burgaw, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2026, in Wilmington, NC surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, at Davidson Funeral Home in Lexington. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Deb was born October 7, 1957, in Davidson County, North Carolina, to Vernon Eugene Robbins and Betty Walser Robbins. She was a member of New Friendship United Church of Christ and worked as a phlebotomist for LabCorp for many years. Deb was known for her big personality and even bigger heart. She loved her family, friends and serving the Lord. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting and riding in her Mustang, but nothing brought her as much joy as getting the entire family together under one roof.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Robbins; brothers-in-law, Charles Freedle, Dannie Strickland and Lonnie Grubb.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Avery Younts; sons, Garrett Younts (Susanna) and Caleb Younts (Ariel); daughter, Jodie Hall (Will); sisters, Betty Freedle and Christine Strickland; sister-in-law, Opal Grubb, and six wonderful grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
