Defoy Miller

C. DeFoy Miller, 99 of East Holly Grove Rd., Lexington died Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Centerclair Nursing Home after a serious illness of 2 days. A funeral service will be 4:00 PM Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Davidson Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. John Mocko and Butch Conrad officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Grove Lutheran Church Cemetery. The family will meet with friends 2:30 to 3:30 PM prior to the service. Mr. Miller was born in Davidson County on March 6, 1911 to James Lee Miller and Lourettie Grimes Miller. He was retired from Dixie Furniture and a member of Holly Grove Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Hazel Wagner Miller, son-in-law Bobbie Everhart, brothers, Beecham Miller and Willie Lee Miller, sisters Versie Grimes, Maude Beck and Mildred Beck. Surviving son, Jerry Miller and wife Brenda and daughter Virginia Everhart all of Lexington, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
